Jessica Crolley Slovensky
Jessica Crolley Slovensky is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor with over 15 years experience in the mental health and addictions field. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Charleston Southern University and a Master of Education Degree in Counseling from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
Jessica directs her clinical skills to help promote understanding of men and women in crisis pregnancy situations and promote awareness of the psychological and spiritual impacts of abortion in order to enable healing and reconciliation.
Jessica has trained Pro-Life Volunteers in the areas of crisis intervention, how to identify the post abortive client and how to engage a client to receive services. She was invited to speak at the Annual Birthright International Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio and has shared her experience of counseling post abortive individuals in the book Sharing the Heart of Christ by Kevin Burke, co-director of Rachel’s Vineyard Ministry.
Prior to coming to PATH, Jessica served as a Clinician in the field of Chemical Addiction. She has served as a Treatment Coordinator and Counselor for chemically addicted professionals in an effort to help them live a sober and responsible lifestyle so they may retain their licenses to practice their profession.
Jessica has been a volunteer with and member of several church ministries to include Life Teen, Respect Life Ministry, Mother's Group, Marriage Encounter and Familia. She is currently teaching a 2nd grade CCD class at St. Benedict Catholic Church. She has been volunteering with PATH since 2005 offering clinical consultation, training, individual and group facilitation and community outreach speaking. She is a former PATH Board Member and continues as a Clinical Consultant with PATH assisting with PATH outreach, intake, bible studies and Rachel's Vineyard Retreats. She is in private practice in the Atlanta area offering individual and group counseling, public speaking and clinical consultation. Her professional website is www.CounselingWithJessica.com.
