Tom Black
Tom Black is a retired accountant and public servant. In retirement he has volunteered with various organizations including a support role with PATH. His favorite volunteer ministry has been the 30 plus years with the elementary parish school of religion.
Tom separated from the Army in December 1967 and graduated from Penn State in March 1972. He began his accounting career as a financial analyst with General Electric Company and subsequently served 37 years with the IRS and the Treasury Inspector General’s Office. He retired in 2012 as a Division Director with the Treasury Inspector General’s Criminal Investigations Office. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
He and his wife Ruth have been married 48 years. They have six children and nine grandchildren.
