According to research by Bradley Mattes in "Men and Abortion: An Overview", more than thirty-million men are struggling to cope with the loss of their children through abortion. Many participated in the decision to abort and assisted their partners in doing so. Several even pressured their partners into having an abortion. Sadly, some watched helplessly as their unborn child was aborted in spite of their pleas to give their baby life. Still, some men were not told of their fatherhood until after their child had already been aborted. What happens to the father of the aborted child? How does he cope with the loss of his child? How does he receive the help he needs in order to heal?
